Carlos was born on the infamous Lunar Colony, Armstrong. His father was a Marine in the Galatic Alliance, and his mother was an oxygen farmer. Both of them wanted Carlos to have a better life, than being stuck on military installations and ships, so they handed him over to the Government. There, he was sealed to be an Achilles Class soldier. They were like the Spartans in Halo, but less complicated. They were the hands, eyes, and ears of the Galatic Alliance, the first to step foot outside Sol's system, and first to step foot outside the Local Nebular.
