Roy was born to an Elven Maid and a human mage. Each possessed magickal abilities, and Roy naturally enherited them. At his young age, though, he was lifted off by a Mage Guild, and taken to harness his raw natural abilities. After long, he questioned some of the current Arch-Mage's Beliefs, and ended up overthrowing him.
